seasonal adjustments: today was a good day for cutting ivy off a neighbour's heavily infested tree (ended up having to use a chain saw -- delicately -- to finish what had been started last fall with hand tools), for cleaning off the porch and for hanging up the hammock.

yesterday's rain and overcast cleared up; today was warm and sunny. the clear sky brought shadows out to play while spring settled in a bit more.
