generally I'm strongly averse to flash -- both kinds, actually: as much to Macromedia's digital video format as to the kind one uses for photographic illumination.  but now and then a good reason for the latter comes along, such as the sight of this merry gang of elves decorating the Town Hall Sunday evening.
