[OT from cottage renovations]

spoken last night by an off-islander friend:

"I took my visiting mother and aunt out to see Washington Grove yesterday [Sunday] afternoon.  we didn't see much because we stayed in the car which meant we couldn't get onto the walkways.  my mother knew that if we walked around one of the cats would come up to us."

we are completely unable to guarantee that Saturday's rerefenestration rededication will be a cat-free event.
