an email from amazon.com just materialised in the ol' inbox, suggesting that I might be interested in these titles:
- Flying Solo: Single Women in Midlife
- With or Without a Man: Single Women Taking Control of Their Lives
- Can You See What I See? Dream Machine
- Pride & Prejudice (Widescreen Edition)
they seem to know more about me than I do ... that transformation into a midlife single woman had completely escaped my notice. as to how it came to theirs, I haven't a clue.

Perhaps Amazon will peg everyone as this one type and then keep pushing it until we give in and learn to like the Midlife Single Woman lifestyle? Then we can all join the Redhat Society and be sisters together.

midlife, and single: I've been doing both of those for some time now though not always with grace nor without whining.
but the guy-to-gal transition is going to take some effort.

There are also other ads which shall receive no mention, here. They make me cringe and worry for the future of any children I might oneday raise.

anywy, it's not so much that you moved in (you did, after all, post that comment from your home in NJ) as much as you are now the subject of a shared custody arrangement. and I can't say this place is all that attractive if you ended up leaving it in favour of a downtown medical facility :)
