today's work brought forth some interesting results along the S wall but by the time I got home the remaining light wasn't adequate, so look for an illustrated update tomorrow ~~morning~~.

there was, however, time for a quick pass with glass cleaning solution and paper towels. I hadn't thiought about getting to it just yet, but a neighbour who was out for a walk told me how much better the new old window was looking since it got washed. that would have been a fine compliment except it hadn't actually been cleaned yet -- but by today the glazing compound should have set well enough for that to happen.
