[OT from cottage renovations]
Salt Lake City has, to say the least, abundant strong light. it's quite different from what I'm used to at home. the schedule was pretty tight but I was able to take advantage of a couple of brief opportunities for snappage.

masses of these flowers were planted on an embankment next door to the production facility. a brief delay in the taping provided a chance to gawk and click.

across the street from the above was an Orthodox church whose distrinctive domes made for an interesting composition with the power and wires for the traction power feed of the light rail University Line. here is, also, a more conventional view of the S tower.
