[OT from cottage renovations]

it turns out this project has been like a floating card game, with folks wandering in and out over the course of play.  even closer is lead singer Maddy Pryor's description of the band Steeleye Span as a sort of a bus which meanders along with people [band members] boarding and alighting from time to time. 

we attained a quorum this morning at breakfast, after which two of the four headed for the airport and flew back to Maryland and the UK, respectively.  another had gone back to New Jersey on Sunday, and we may be picking up one more from the UK office later this week. 

as to precisely what I'm doing and how long I am needed, those are still being defined as we roll along.  one thing for sure: today's piece is going to run on well into the night.
