the Open Sky project: Nausicaä's jet glider (in Japanese).  apparently PetWORKs have been working on a prototype of this aircraft from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Winds.

I was wondering if/when somebody might notice.  I saw one on a long reply thread somewhere, one of the support pages I think, that was done from an animated GIF with the text ring rotating.  nice effect but I'm too lazy for that.
