a few days ahead of the summer solistice the days are long enough that there's still usable light as the evening concert is getting underway at the gazebo in Wadsworth Park.

hello, I'm writing from France !
I was looking in the web for an "avatar" of the name Luna Pensive (mine, in a forum) and a picture "luna pensive" was the answer, along with your journal.
I was caught in the rest of your photographs and illustrations quite a time... I will visit that journal again (to read, this time) Cats, garden, flowers, trees, old houses, Tolkien, children, Steeleye span and all... a beautiful universe, in another world for me (the one in my dreams a long time ago)
I was writing to ask if I could use the picture luna pensive for an avatar, or, another one (of your illustrations or photos (I like for example Meg larger than her shadow, and the banker lion, etc.), and, if yes, with what reference, quote, etc.
But now it does not really matter ! Thank you for the journey in your journal (or in beauty...)

Just a little question about the illustrations in your profile :
John Renbourn,is he the musician ? (I remember finding records in Ireland quite a while ago... and trying to fix in on the bicycles to bring back to France)

Luna is one of Grove's feral children; the images from the following morning (http://www.livejournal.com/~15_the_circle/2006/06/18) capture more of her essence though that might not have anything to do with the avatar you might have in mind.  yes, you may play with the images if you wish; a source credit to the cottage renovations journal would be appreciated.  I would also be interested to see the finished product.
