W wall, from the inside
today's activities were all about the N side of the W wall. insulation was placed into its cavities, the cat door and cat cam window were reconfigured as tunnels rather than wide open (and uninsulated) spaces, the window sill was installed and beadboard began to reappear. I won't be covering it over with styrofoam slabs and wallboard, though.
things are beginning to have a much more finished look about them.
view into NE corner
note the sash pocket access, which is through flanking apertures which will be concealed by the side of the window frame. this approach is new to me but after some consideration I was inclined to go along with the trim carpenter's suggestion in this regard.
beadboard reinstalled over the doors
the more detailed the cutting and fitting, the higher the proportion of sawdust and cut off bits and pieces.
