Real cool! I wish I had a canal to walk through photogenic sights like that.

I quite agree: there is something so very soothing about a canal.  It does not appear, however, that you lack for interesting subjects in your area.  Vallejo and Mare Island in particular always seem to present good things whenever you are out and about in their vicinity.

Thank you. I wish the V-ho walk was longer though, and along a canal rather than a river/estuary which is very wide with very limited crossover. The walkable area on the Vallejo side is only available in the town area and marina, about 2 miles. Much more interesting industrial areas to the south, and undeveloped land northward have no paths or walkways, but instead, many barriers.

(Maybe I need a nutshell pram.)
