Ouch. But glad to see you are back in town and adding your photo-perspective to the issues at hand. Great photography weather.
At MNCPPC hearing this evening (WG Master Plan review) your elected officials endorsed Planning staffs recommendation that the lower field be used for a new recreational park. County Council will vote on it soon, this week I think. Take all the pictures you can of the lower/upper tree line as we've hope, but no guarantee, that it will be preserved.
Please dear lord, let the tree line be saved. With Crabbs Branch Way coming next to my home, talk of a bike path on Brown Street that will carve a hole into the tree line and open me up to MORE NOISE, and the growing noise from the ICC development, it isn't long before the town (at this end, anyway) will be forever changed. NOISE is everywhere, starting at 4:30 am. Why don't our officials care about this challenge and the obvious added pollution which will come from the new roadway? Is there any hope that the new administration will change overall behavior of government? Heather (on Brown St)
