this journal has been like a computer with an unstable operating system: sometimes things get hung and it becomes necessary to press Ctrl+Alt+Del, hit the RESET button or cycle the power switch.
Just got back from Seattle. The Sounder train had a stop behind my hotel out by Sea-Tac airport. After seeing the wavy blue and white painted train I realized haven't seen the sounder train cars stopping behind my house recently (loaning themselves out to VRE.) Does that mean they've all gone home to Washington State or are there still some in Virginia somewhere?
VRE was able to lease the Sounder equipment for a while --a few years actually -- but had to return it at expiration.
the last of the three trainsets went back in February of this year.
