it's still the morning after the same ice storm but this is a separate entry because the subjects are outside the Grove.

as the train pulls out I turn near the top of the stairs for a low(er) angle view.
what I was looking for in the image was the train's reflection in the water on the platform, the green signal light in the distance and the warmth of the lighting under the eaves; what I found was the way the end of the railing projects its angular self into the composition.
the surface of the parking lot was glazed with this sheen of ice and water ...
... in which this tree's reflection help bring together surface and sky.
it's another image that works better at higher resolution than in the thumbnail.

another feature that took on a different aspect in the ice was this small gauge mesh netting.
