[OT from cottage renovations]

for today's commute I am exercising modal preference by returning to two wheels and ten speeds, though fully expecting to pay for it this evening.  in full, no doubt, but after six weeks it's way overdue.

today's weather was bike-compatible but tomorrow's is forecast to be less so, providing all the more reason not to wait.
