mesh shadow fun

spent the day at home, in quarantine with something viral and debilitating.  for the most part it was a continuous sleep cycle, with felines helpfully showing the way. 

at one point, though, I woke briefly and found this strainer caught in a sunbeam in the kitchen.  the image looked interesting but what I did was to go back to sleep.  next time around, though, I shifted it out of the shadow to an illuminated spot and caught these.

love the strainer shots. I can't quite tell if you shot these in B & W. I guess when you don't have shadow leaves anymore, you find other shadows to photograph.
