I really like D. carota. I adore the way that the inflorescence behaves. Have you ever dug one up to smell the root? :-)

I'm not tired of them.

I don't see them so much where I live now, but they do remind me of the northwest where they were in abundance. They're a gorgeous blossom. I used to cut them and bring them in the house but that was a big mistake. Best to leave them alone to admire on walks.
