[OT from cottage renovations]

today was the last day for this year's Summer in the Parks programme.  there was a potluck dinner, a play (Charlotte's Web) and a mini film festival, the latter two featuring the dramatic work of the children.  and, of course, the ritual capturing of flags once it got really dark in Chapel Park.  followed, if that manages to tire at least some of the children, by an overnight in the Memorial Grove. 

these were taken during the potluck supper.

the next morning the tents were cleared away, the sets struck and the hall got a good cleaning.

the long green paper chains had excellent potential for adaptive reuse and were removed intact from the premises.
