[OT from cottage renovations]

take a walk around the Grove any time from late spring through summer and you're sure to see these tiny beauties: white doll's daisy. 
for those familiar with US coinage, these flowers are no larger than a dime.

Bittersweet Cottage garden

a neat clockwise sequence is too much to hope for, but here on the same stem are examples of different stages from bud to head. 




if you're not prepared for the answer, don't ask the question.  in this case I already know: she loves me not.  that can't be helped, but at least no plants were harmed in reaching that conclusion.

not an exotic, not invasive, not a weed; what a pleasure it is to find something this pretty that actually belongs here.
