daffodils in the Circle

[OT from cottage renovations]

warm days are bringing the Circle's daffodils into bloom.

the Circle

in selecting the colours to paint the cottage I was guided more by historical precedent than my own wishes.  when the daffodils in the Circle come into bloom, though, a slightly pale yellow with white and deep green trim fits right in.

as with the Grove, so with our flowers: somebody's got to be different. 

it happened today

... those ready-to-pop-open buds did just that.  a couple of warm days was all the encouragement they needed.
