leaping frogs

the painting contractor (a new one) came around to estimate the job of painting the carpentry completed so far, with the understanding that his crew will be trailing the carpentry as more of it gets done along the S wall.  the Excellent Trim Carpenter reports that they have worked well with him in the past so I don't expect that having different trades playing leapfrog and tag around the place will lead to any problems.  the plan is for them to start tomorrow, inshallah. 

as always, we shall see.
