Friday

after a week of nobody showing up, the last thing I expected to see in the morning of the Friday before a holiday weekend was the builder.  he came with a new trim carpenter to get the lingering carpentry tasks completed (dealing with N side rot, fastening the pediment trim piece, replacing window glazing putty and setting some quarter round along the intersection of the W wall and porch ceiling).  it's about a day's worth of work. 

surface prep is to follow, next week. 
we'll see. 

if nothing else it's nice to be getting some forward motion again. 

wrapping up the carpentry

today's carpentry tasks have been completed.  it took less than a day to get them completed. 
now it's on to the surface preparation.
