trim carpenter

the builder and trim carpenter came by to take some measurements; the latter is shown here in a view captured by the porch cam. 

he also took the new/old (or is it old/new?) doors, presumably off to his shop where he can get a start on building the frame.  some of the hardware is still inside the house but it should catch up with him in a few days or so. 

they will also be hauling off the large shingled plywood slabs and dozen-plus 30gal bags of shingles that have been removed from the exterior, and not a moment too soon.  the volume of this material was beginning to encroach seriously into the porch.
