Dude, where's my porch?

the columns have become stalactites, bringing an air of Dali, Escher or Magritte to the Circle. 

after Magritte the composition would have been even better with a cat in the open space under one of the danglers -- but there are limits to feline cooperation.

coming soon: new (which is to say unrotted) porch framing and flooring.  and -- at long last -- refenestration of the front.  those in other-than-antipodeal time zones can monitor remotely via the Porch Cam.
