[OT from cottage renovations. way OT.]

I don't really know how I got into this -- I'm not a member of the congregation, or even of the faith -- but I have accepted the role of digital wrangler for next Sunday's Blessing of the Animals at the Grove's church.

animals need not be present to be blessed. instead, from what I have been given to understand, images of the beasties will be shown. it will be the responsibility of each animal's owner to transfer the blessing from the image to the animal (don't ask me how this is done, all I'm doing is taking up the collection. of pictures).

images in machine readable form can be sent to creatures@pacerfarm.org. if you have a picture but it's in hard copy form, or if you don't have any picture of your animal, send a note to Pastor Judy: jsmithyoung@gmail.com and we'll find a way to make sure that no creature is left behind.

some images have already come in but there is plenty of room for more.
