Nice photo. I had to push a few of my cats in and out their door several times before they 'got' it.
Then, because the weather is so mild here I just took out the flap.

she's bright and she's motivated so I don't think that working it out will be beyond her.  but until she's been spayed there's no way I'm doing anything to facilitate that particular piece of technology transfer.

Yes, do get her spayed soon. Then she will be able to go out and enjoy the warm weather. I didn't want any of my girls to get pregnant as there are already too many feral cats around. So they each took the trip when they were around 7 months old. I am glad that alot of vets now give them a pain shot before they come out of anesthesia making their recovery easier.
