thank you.  glad you liked the pictures but I can't claim any horticultural credit as they are in somebody else's garden. 

the ones in the cottage garden appeared in this space on 10 May (http://www.livejournal.com/~15_the_circle/178981.html) and are continuing to add a splash of brilliant colour out back.

Beautiful photos, especially with that golden light glowing through the petals!

I'd love to make an engraving of that last one. The forms of the flowers would be endless fun to sketch.
