[OT from cottage renovations]

this garden across the Circle uses Woodruff as a ground cover in some places.  it's not a plant I care much for, though having seen today for the first time how it can catch afternoon light perhaps that view might be worth reconsidering.

one would need to mull a tremendous quantity of wine to make even a small dent on the amount of this stuff we have around here.  its wikipedia entry hints that it can have mind altering properties; perhaps thrill seekers could be recruited to help keep it under at least some semblance of control.
