easter egg hunt
[OT from cottage renovations]
the Grove's annual egg hunt was held on Sunday afternoon. they might have been Lenten eggs, or Palm Sunday eggs, or something generic of no particular liturgical significance; I don't know. there was some sort of Easter Bunny problem: we ended up having to import one from Richmond VA and the far right account lack of volunteers.
ambient lighting was difficult but there was a good turnout and, more to the point, a fine time was had by all.

was this an egg roll, or was it field hockey?
something seems to have happened ...
sack hoppers
egg toss -- short and long range
no real eggs were unharmed in this event

many thanks to the Recreation Committee and the Woman's Club for making it all happen.

yes, thank you, I wouldn't dream of missing the it. incidental photography at these sorts of events is the only work I do with human subjects.

thank you, it's always good to hear about it when any of these posts or images are pleasing to somebody.
you might not have been able to attend in person, but I think it's just grand how LJ and the 'net make it possible for those who are away to keep from missing out on it completely.
aftermath
a week later, it ain't a pretty sight (http://www.livejournal.com/~15_the_circle/159153.html).
