spring has been hopscotching and leapfrogging all over the Grove; things that are blooming in one place are barely budding in another.  depending on where you look spring beauties, forsythia, daffodil and magnolia are either already out or waiting their turn while the crocus parade hasn't so much stopped as shifted to new venues.  go figure.
