the Circle
the Circle and the yards of its cottages are dotted with Siberian Squill, a tiny gem of a flower that is one of the earliest arrivals each year.
it is, however, completely established in a patch of grass between Shadowlawn and Hearthstone (named cottages).
a carpet of Scilla siberica
this diminutive plant and its flowers really push the ability of optics and software to record and present an image.
to get an idea of their scale, here's one under a towering crocus and another growing next to the corner of a brick:
