Mission Creek

a creek, a tall Western Sycamore with a long rope secured to its upper branches; a young man who comes along and puts it to the obvious intended purpose. 

as seen looking down from the stone bridge that carries Mission Canyon Road over the creek.  it's right next to the wisteria wall shown a few days ago.  I just happened to be crossing it at the right moment (a better moment would have been one with more light, but the overcast never broke -- some days are like that out here).

this is actually a crap photo, one that normally I would hardly consider saving, much less posting in this space. 
the only thing it has going for it is how it catches youthful exuberance.
