there's nothing like a winter evening with plenty of other things that should be getting done for setting them all aside in favour of portrait time for the kitties.

thank you, though the verb "to sit" is not one that often applies in her case.  she's not much of a one for standing still (all the more reason to be thankful for high ISO settings) except when she's asleep, so the transient one-off photo opportunities must be caught quickly.
