excursion
[OT from cottage renovations]
Meg is not yet allowed outside at will, but she is now eligible for the occasional supervised excursion. Saturday morning's chilly damp was followed by an afternoon that became sunny and warm, enough so that having gotten back from a string of errands I had a late lunch on the porch swing while Meg did a bit of exploring.

indoors, the situation reported on 26 November continues unabated. turn the faucet handles to start a shower and she comes running -- she often makes into the tub before I do. for the whole time she jumps up and down between the edge of the tub and its bottom; by staying on the outside of the shower curtain she avoids the full stream of water while wading in and playing with the water on the bottom. the tactile sensation of a cat next to one's foot while in the shower is one to which I have not yet become accustomed.
on her personal scale of feline-fascinating household activities it seems to rank right up there with changing the sheets, a task that has delighted every cat I've ever known.
Blogs/Computers
(Anonymous) 2007-01-02 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)I have this week off and today is nearly gone as I have been playing and already have a lot of problems; formats have changed, things have disappeared and I am getting irritable and bad tempered. The house hasn't been tidied and its now time to do other things - the computer really is for the boys! I have sorted a few things and now have a book set up with different things that need passwords - probably wrong to do this but how does a girl remember all IDs and passwords?!
Anyhow I will comment on different things in future which are more relevant to your newsletter!
Hope 2007 is full of adventure and exciting new things. Kindest, your cousin Gill
