[OT from cottage renovations]

morning yardwork seems to have made for a good time to just drop in.  at first glance, out of the corner of my eye, this fellow looked like a chipmunk.  a second glance made things a bit more obvious, and after a little while he settled down next to a fallen leaf, basking in the similarity. 

I'm hoping he's here to feast on gnats.
