the English roses may be nearing the end of this season's run, but they're still providing quite a spectacle in the late afternoon light.

... and I very much could while taking the images. 

also, the linden tree is in bloom next door to these roses in the front yard of chez time travelers.  tried to photograph but hadn't brought along tripod or correct lens so the images were crap and I had run out of time before yoga in the Town hall.  if it holds up long enough I will try again this evening or tomorrow as it links to a particular bit of visual imagery for me.
