patience

not that anything can be seen under today's snow, but over the past few days I've been looking out front to see if anything is coming up from the bulbs I planted last fall. 

bulb tips are visible -- from the bulbs that have been there for years.  the new ones haven't yet sent up any visible growth.  perhaps they're slower to get going than their more established yardmates, or maybe the squirrels got them all.  then again there's always the possibility that I should allow the passage of a bit more time before getting all worked up about it.
