[OT from cottage renovations]

over at the elementary school the weather station [livejournal.com profile] weatherbug_wges reported an overnight low of 15.4°f, warm by the standards of my grizzled Alaskan sourdough sister but unpleasantly cold for these parts. 

by Monday the highs are forecast to hit the 60s for a few days.  go figure, but at least it means the hunkering down is finite.
