[OT from cottage renovations]

on the 1st Day of Christmas Peake brought in a dead mouse a few minutes after midnight. 
on the 3rd Day of Christmas he left a dead bird at the base of the Christmas tree. 
not knowing whether his musical knowledge base includes the traditional song about the 12 Days of Christmas, I am facing the prospect of the remaining days with a certain amount of trepidation.

he hasn't been doing this before.  one wonders why he has suddenly taken on the role of the Mighty Hunter.  if he persists in this behaviour some cat door modifications might be indicated.
