the LJ feature that allows integration of RSS feeds into one's flist gives the potential -- and why not should it be fulfilled? -- for all manner of interesting content to show up from time to time. 

take, for example, this little gem from strangemaps: the transit system map of world transit systems. 

it's a worthy follow-on to the transit meme from a few months ago.

RSS feeds into our Friend's page is something I discovered a few years back and wonder how many other's know about it. I have to be careful, though, cause they can super bloat that page.

Strange Maps is certainly a unique one. I loved the one showing the shifting of the Mississippi River.
