after sunset

[OT from cottage renovations]

another long but productive day.  the triage has come along so well we have completed our second consecutive day without any dump runs. 

heading back to my brother's place at the end of the day we found ourselves returning just after sunset.  there wouldn't have been time to walk up to a good vantage point but he granted me the indulgence of a brief detour, enough to get this image. 

this one isn't about the sunset so much as what's going on in the atmosphere.  looking West along the Coast Range fog can be seen drifting in from the ocean, bringing a touch of lighter grey to the lower left of the image.
