[OT from cottage renovations]
the past month or so hasn't been outstanding for good weeekend light, and serial distractions have kept me from taking advantage of what there has been. today was better in both regards.

these honeysuckle bushes have dropped their leaves, leaving berries more prominently displayed against bare branch whether glowing in the streaming light or outlined against the sky.

the Circle
... has several varieties of azalea, the leaves of each reacting differently to the change of season. the light passing through these was intense to the point of being hard on the eyes.
... while these ones have chosen December in which to turn to improbable fruit flavour colours: apricot and peach. go figure.
