finally, it's on its way to the printer's.
even zipped it's a big honkin' file, large enough to be a challenge for their web-based FTP server.
if the transfer conks out tonight (which I fully expect it do to) they'll get it on CD courtesy of fedex.

the T1 line out of the office, no longer shared with 19 other users, certainly counts as underutilised broadbandwidth. it turned out to be a perfectly adequate transport for the 350 Mb worth of source and image files of which the calendar is comprised] |
things are looking good for it to be in hand by the end of the month. I will also turn the cover page into an 8½x11 promo flyer for experimentally printing on the inkjet in its pretty-photo mode.
so now I can get on with doing something useful, like voting [done] and finding another job.
