surveryors, pt. 3 (signs of progress)

• surveyors have come and left gaily coloured lengths of plastic ribbon fluttering from branches near their data points.  two property corners are now marked, one more shows evidence of some searching for markers, and another remains untouched.  a sparse row of steel rods was driven into the ground along 6^th Avenue where they had to run a line to tie back to a known data point.  Grove surveys are like that. 
  the front porch overhang onto Town property is deeper than I had expected; it's on the order of 2 or 3 ft. 
• daffodil bulbs and Virginia Bluebells are continuing to manifest signs of new growth.
