taking measure

before starting on the storm windows and screens, the trim carpenter stopped by to measure the front window apertures.  not surprisingly, he found that the dimensions matched his notes from when he had built them a few months ago.  but he checked again, just to be sure.  that's a very good way to go about approaching the task.

this cat cam view also provides me with a reminder that its little window's glass is overdue for some cleaning.
