not just for the garden any more

during the Blizzard of '05 road conditions had made for a wet commute (at least below the knees) and I made a note to experiment with wellies the next time a splashy ride seemed likely.  this morning's light rain provided an excellent road test opportunity and it turns out they worked just fine.  they are unsuitable for office wear so on arrival I did switch over to backup footgear.
