sweeps

the leaves are, for the most part, still up there in the trees so the peak season for raking hasn't yet come, and it's still too warm to put in the bulbs.  this has allowed me to put the time into further preparations for winter weather. 

last weekend I had applied gap insulation to the tops and sides of the front doors but a cold air free flow zone remained beneath.  so today to address that I installed sweeps.

the sweeps happen to match the height of the strips spliced into the bottoms of the doors months ago during installation.
