not just any old plant

during the dedication Birgit and Don kindly extended the offer of an eponymous bittersweet vine from their garden.  the last few days brought enough rain to facilitate digging it up, and yesterday afternoon this potted specimen appeared on the porch.  they even provided delivery service.

Circle cat Abby is investigating in the background of this cat cam image capture.  due to inclement weather the ponies had spent the day inside.

I am planning on transplanting it and the chionanthus virginicus over the weekend.  pictures to follow when this is done.
