yikes! stripes!

thursday was occupied with more painting activity.  the TIG planks on the S wall were caulked by way of preparation for a second coat of paint.  here's the appearance it presented at the end of the day:

the folding chairs &c. visible on the porch had been set up for the Grove writers' group meeting hosted here later that evening.
