return of the prodigal

the builder is now nearly a month overdue in coming up with an estimate for the painting. 

in calling him today with a gentle reminder of this situation I asked whether he numbered any bounty hunters among his circle of acquaintances.  it would make things easier for all parties to the transaction ...

this appears to have gotten his attention, and he promised to bring his painting sub by tomorrow morning or this afternoon to look over the job site, and to have an estimate Monday.  it wasn't long before they turned up on the cat cam.
